Music and movement brings creativity, growth and joy from early childhood. From humming a tune to dancing to a beat, children learn to express themselves freely with rhythm and sound, even before they have the words to communicate..

At Vision Nursery, we embrace the art of learning through music and movement in every step of a child’s journey.

Why Music & Movement Matter

Boosts Language and Literacy Skills

Singing and dancing introduce children to new vocabulary, rhyming patterns, and sentence structures. Repetition of songs strengthens memory and builds a foundation for early reading.

Develops Motor Coordination

From stomping feet to swirling scarves, movement activities strengthen both fine and gross motor skills. These playful exercises build balance, strength, and coordination.

Supports Cognitive Growth

Patterns in music enhance logical thinking. Following rhythm, sequencing steps, and repeating melodies sharpen memory and problem-solving skills.

Encourages Social Skills

Group singing and dancing nurture teamwork and cooperation. Sharing instruments or moving together in a circle builds bonds and a sense of community.

Fun Music & Movement Activities at Vision Nursery

Instrument Exploration

Little hands explore drums, shakers, and tambourines, discovering rhythm and sound.

Action Songs

Classics like Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes blend movement with language learning.

Marching & Parades

Proud little steps to the beat develop coordination and rhythm.

Creative Movement Stories

Through music and storytelling, children transform into animals, superheroes, or adventurers on imaginative journeys.

How Parents Can Join In at Home

- Play different genres of music and invite your child to move however they feel.

- Use everyday items (pots, spoons, boxes) as instruments for a fun family jam session

- Sing during routines - bedtime, bath time, or mornings, to make transitions smoother.

- Encourage your child to put on a “performance.” It builds confidence and pride.

We believe music and movement are more than play, they are essential building blocks of early learning. Our Music & Movement classes inspire joy while helping children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.By weaving rhythm and movement into daily life, we nurture confident, creative learners who carry a love of music into every step of their journey.
